More Yellow Shirts, Please

I think my life has become a series of me wearing cute yellow shirts.

Finding this top was so fun! I accidentally left the house in tennis shoes one day and felt a strong urge to stop at a second-hand shoe store for some  cute sandals. As I was leaving, this yellow top stole my attention.  I knew it was why I felt the urge to stop and shop.

In the past, I would have mentally beat myself up for accidentally leaving the house in tennis shoes. It’s crazy how many negative thoughts we have in a day if we don’t do the work to look in the mirror and create awareness of what goes on inside of us. And when you understand how powerful your mind is in creating your life, you want to do the work (and turn off the news.)

Because instead of a crappy day in tennis shoes, I ended up on a fun adventure that connected me to a new adorable yellow top and some cute sandals. Also, the sales girl was really sweet, and whether it’s 5 minutes or 40 years, I love connecting with people.
